Due to a general laziness of sorts, I wasn’t really anything for Halloween. As a kid, I always dressed up as a princess, a fairy, or a fairy princess… never anything dark, evil, or edgy. I would have screamed if someone told me to play some devil.
Regardless, I have a pair of red devil horns. I LOVE them. They’re awesome; they light up; and they’re remnants of my two thousand and six world cup costume (south korea! dae han min guk~ fighting!). So~ I absolutely couldn’t and didn’t pass up the opportunity to don horns. BUT, I still managed to do my fairy princess self justice by coupling my horns with this shirt and this baby-doll top (both courtesy of dELiA’s - yay!).
PLUS
The shirt is covered in hearts. I was going for irony? But, I completely ruined my devilish image. My friends claimed, “Oh, you’re so cute! You have horns but it’s - like cute! Your shirt has hearts on it…” The worst was the constant, “I like your ears!” Ears?!?! Horns! They are obviously horns. They’re red and they glow!
Those two tops are of the more-casual-and-fun-less-wannabe- young-professional part of my wardrobe. At any rate, I need to halt wardrobe expansion as spending money like I’m in possession of an infinite supply is a big fat no-no. ^^
Hmm… while speaking of shopping, I got a wonderful deal on a photo album at Urban Outfitters. It was about 75% off. Haha! I also snagged the Marie-Antoinette soundtrack there! Yay! I have yet to see the film and I probably won’t see it anytime soon as I’ve yet to finish the biography it was based on and as I’ve 231,212 things or thereabouts to do between now and then. Starting with the two wonderful and beautiful paper proposals that I have due tomorrow.
As a quick follow up to the last entry, let me say that I entered Urban Outfitters with bricks books from the library in my bag. They set off the alarm. (>_<).
‘Tis the life of a history major. Ciao.
