Introduction

Hello. Callistonian.net is my stomping ground on the Internet. Here, I post a potpourri of things - this place is a little random. I'm Chantelle: a 23 year old foreign language, law, and history obsessed girl.

Cecily von Ziegesar’s Gossip Girl #1
Gossip Girl revolves around the lives of privileged teens living in New York City’s Upper East Side. The vast majority of GG’s protagonists are spiteful and superficial: they are as deep as the ink on paper after a girl signs her name with a Montblanc fountain pen.

Paperjournalsquares
In December of 2006 and January of 2007, I kept a journal of small paper squares and here it is for you to see! Each day is represented by one square. Most of the paper displayed was created or acquired on that day.

What follows is an explanation of each square. The explanations were transcribed from notes (the image on the right). If you view the original document and not the transcription below, you’ll:

That’s really creative / awesome / fun! Good idea.

Do more.

You could make a whole calendar…

Oh neat what a fun idea! Yay I see Sims 2. :P

That must’ve taken some dedication!

That looks like a nice quilt thing! But lol your handwriting at its worst beats my worst handwriting by far…

That’s really neat! I’ve always loved simple, cute little things like that.

I remember when I was in one of my artsy moods, I felt like making a collage, but it ended up looking like a kindergarten project! :)

I do save movie tickets. Maybe I should do something fun with that.

Oh, that’s such a cool idea! Yay Starbucks, for its awesomeness.

I do agree with Racheal though, do more if you can :D

Such blatant display of disregard for grammar and spelling! I’m shocked!

Nah, i’m joking. Your ‘g’s are so awesome, and don’t worry, my writing is way worse. I’ll post it one day I guess, it’ll make you feel better about yours. Trust me.

Wow, that’s a really awesome idea. I would start doing that as well, but I’ll lose interest in it really quickly like I do with most things. Heck, I even had trouble keeping a regular journal. THE SIMS 2! Hooray! I can’t play it on my Mac though, since I have the PC versions, and I can’t play them on my old PC because my brother reformatted it and turned it into a Linux server, so I guess I’m stuck not playing it. :(

That’s a clever idea. I agree with the above posters that it’d be neat to see you continue it.
