Introduction

Hello. Callistonian.net is my stomping ground on the Internet. Here, I post a potpourri of things - this place is a little random. I'm Chantelle: a 23 year old foreign language, law, and history obsessed girl.

Cecily von Ziegesar’s Gossip Girl #1
Gossip Girl revolves around the lives of privileged teens living in New York City’s Upper East Side. The vast majority of GG’s protagonists are spiteful and superficial: they are as deep as the ink on paper after a girl signs her name with a Montblanc fountain pen.

Yesterday, a pretty handwritten note came in the mail from Papyrus:

Chantelle,
Thank you so much for ordering your stamper from us! We hope you love it and use it all the time!

Thanks again,
The Papyrus Team

It’s sweet of them to send such things—but I do not have the “stamper” yet. They know this, because I told them… and yet, they send such letters. Are they mocking me?

It could have been like this:

X: Hey, something came from Papyrus for you.
Me: *thinks it must be that - but no, it’s a letter about using that thing I don’t have yet instead*

Lol, that is such an evil thing to do! It seems they have their priorities out of order if they’re sending handwritten notes before the actual product. But their stuff is pretty :3

Maybe it’s their equivalent to the auto-responder e-mails?

I made a take out order to the Japanese restaurant, and I was quite surprised that at the end the lady said “Thanks you so very much for your order”. She sounded so sincere I didn’t even know what to say at first :P

I find it… er… sweet. Maybe it’s just a mix up.

Oh, I definitely think that it’s sweet too. It was a nice surprise. But I also think that it’s kind of ironic that I get the “thank you” note, before the actual product.

Perhaps they get sent out to everybody after a couple of days of placing their order. *shrugs*

They are mocking you! XD
Actually, it sounds more like a “we a appreciate your business” kind of note. Funny though!

@Kristina: A couple of days, no? :( I ordered in December, before Christmas. *cries*
