Blinking + Comic Sans MS = NO!
In case you missed it, as a joke, I uploaded a “disgusting” layout yesterday. :D Because I had trouble striking a proper balance between ugly/tacky and blinding, the layout’s hideousness changed throughout the day. Callistonian.net began April Fools’ with an “eye-raping” background and Comic Sans MS as the only font utilized.

I couldn’t bear to look at it; I had to change the background. So I went for “seizure” and uploaded a flashing striped background… But the seizure-inducing background coupled with Comic Sans MS proved to be too much. I felt the need to calm it down a bit. The flashing turned into a subtle wtf-did-it-just-blink blink and Comic Sans MS disappeared from everything but the headers. :)

I thought it was a trick when I was at work and they sent out all their newsletters/leaflets in Comic Sans MS… turns out it was the grim reality. :O
I saw it with the seizure inducing background. And it really WAS seizure inducing.

I was only tricked once and that was online through someone’s blog. She had a link to a picture that I totally wasn’t expecting to see. Now I’m scarred for life. =[

I got tricked a lot. I’m kind of lame that way, but nothing compared to my amazingly oblivious best friend. :D

Haha.. you tricked me.. I thought that the background was playing mirages with my eyes and shook my head, but you definitely tricked me hahaha.
I knew that it was a trick :)! *feels special* But it was a good trick nevertheless.
You know, if it wasn’t for the Comic Sans, blinking background, and other obvious details, I would have thought, “wow, that’s… different!”

I’m glad I missed the seizure-inducing background and the Comic Sans-ness! I didn’t get tricked (in real life) because no one tried to pull anything on me. I might’ve fell for a few April Fool’s jokes online, but I don’t think that counts. ;D
