I Can Play the Same Song Endlessly and More
Repeat One vs. Repeat All. I’ve been craving a particular soundtrack for weeks. Today, it happened; I have it. There’s one song in particular that’s really sweet and girly. It’s so soft. It’s not really good, but I absolutely love it. I’m listening to it right now, at this very second in time. It’s played 4 times in a row, already. It’s still playing. I’ll probably play it 5 more times before I decide to move on to the rest of the soundtrack. Here’s a question, though. If you were in my presence or in the presence of someone playing the same song in an endless loop, would you A) kill that person B) be annoyed C) not care D) like it? Do you repeat songs endlessly?
Snowboarding 101. Last month, I went snowboarding for the first time ever. I’m not an athletic person, and I was terrible at snowboarding—but it was still amazing fun. I couldn’t get down the bunny slope, but … Next time, I’ll get down the hill without falling? Maybe? Probably not. After my first snowboarding adventure, my legs weren’t sore. My arms weren’t really sore. My back wasn’t really sore. However, my poor butt was terribly sore. Afterwards, sitting down hurt so much, so next time, I want to spend more time standing up and less time in the snow!
Good Things. Feb. 16th is my mother’s birthday (happy birthday!). I got her plane ticket, today! She’s coming to Korea, next month. She’s never been here before. I have to make lists and plan out everything we’ll do. I’m so excited. :)
Other Good Things. I’ll do a voice entry next time? I uploaded pictures (finally!!) to my flickr account. They’re photos from COEX Aquarium that I took at the beginning of December. I need to add a lot more.

I repeat some songs endlessly. Somtimes I fall asleep to them. :P Anyone Else But You (Michael Cera and Ellen Page) is my top-played song, because I seriously will play it 100+ times in a row. Sometimes I bring my iPod to school and listen to that one song secretly all day.
Happy birthday to your mom! :)
The most I’ve ever played a song in a row is something like 15-30. I don’t want to get sick of the song so I play my whole library on shuffle and get happy when it plays. :P
I repeat songs endlessly, and I rarely get tired of it (since I pick songs I like in the first place :P). I mostly listen to music as background music, though, so it’s not like I’m focusing on the same song for 10 times.
I’ve never been snowboarding, but it does look like fun. I like playing around in the snow, and I have a feeling that if I went snowboarding, I’d spend a lot of time falling, too.
Happy birthday to your mom! Her visit sounds super exciting.
I enjoyed your aquarium pictures, although the fish in the toilet didn’t look like fish… :X
I always put songs on repeat, although I don’t really focus on them since I usually play them pretty quietly. I’ve never been snowboarding, and I can’t really ski that well either, but winter sports are actually quite fun!
If a person plays a song endlessly and it’s quite nice (that said, that’s the first time hearing it), I might enjoy listening to it :3 Until now, I’m still not annoyed or tired at one 2006 song, heh.
If I discover a song that I really, really like, I’ll put it on repeat and listen to it endlessly. This usually lasts for a few days, and then I go back to listening to my regular iTunes library :D
Recently, I got into the CATS musical craze and have been repeating some songs from there for a couple of times daily. Some of the tunes are so catchy that they even ran in my head when I was going to sleep lol. I think it is because of that I have booked a ticket to attend the musical in April.
When I’m driving, I always love to repeat the song over and over and over and over again… there’s nothing wrong with it, only when I’m alone though do I do that.
I’m glad you enjoyed snowboarding!! I LOVE snowboarding, I’m going again tomorrow which is something I’m really excited about!!!
I’m a repeat ONE type person & it drives my hubby nuts :p
Repeat one is how I roll. Haha.
I go through minor obsessions with songs, in which I just repeat one them (can I use that as a verb tense?) for days or weeks or months at a time. I write down on my wall (not Facebook wall, but room wall) in pencil which songs I’ve been obsessed with. Looking back, and listening to some of those songs again, I am flabbergasted at my old music tastes.
So yes, i don’t mind repeat one-ing at all. I don’t mind if others do it. It sort of imprints the song in your head, and I like that.
